Elijah McCoy (1943-1929)

Back: Elijah McCoy was born in Canada to parents who had escaped slavery in Kentucky by traveling along the Underground Railroad. He studied engineering in Scotland before obtaining a job with the Michigan Central Railroad. In 1872, in his home workshop in Michigan, he invented a "lubricating cup" that could automatically drip oil when and where needed on the steam engines of trains and boats, and received a patent later that year. His invention was so popular people inspecting new equipment would ask if the device contained the "real McCoy"-the real thing, the highest quality. Elijah McCoy later established his own firm and was responsible for 57 U.S. patents, among them the folding ironing board and the lawn sprinkler.

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. Psalm 128:1

This features a colorful design on the front cover with a blank inside & back cover. Works with all printers and copiers.
