ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rev. Joy Sherman is an ordained pastor in the Church of God, and loves the Word of God and God's church. She carries a Master of Theological Studies degree from Anderson University’s School of Theology and is still learning more about the Lord each day. Her desire is that people will read Scripture and discover for themselves the beauty of God’s nature, the depth of His love and the gracious invitation into deeper relationship with Him. Joy is wife to Steve and mom to Elijah, roles which she feels are her first call to ministry. She has written curriculum, devotionals and Advent readings for Christian Women Connection, poetic and prose material for anthologies, and litanies for worship at church. She speaks at women’s conferences and other ministry events with the hopes of helping people unpack the power of God’s Word.
